Have a great day!

If you are an anonymous poster or reader and would like to be added to The List, please drop a line to freespeak@gmail.com or anyone contributing to KCAC Lives! to be added. The List has become a reference point for memories and emails to old friends. It also has become kind of a Social Register and will be something of a reference list for reunions and such in the future. Not only that, SOMEONE - maybe someone special from the old days, MAY be trying to find YOU.

So... let us know who you are, where your memories or interests tie in and what your email address is. Get on the bus. We don't know where its going and it may NEVER leave but the music is great and the people are fun!

Please welcome Sharon Porter to The List. She was at the party at Alwun last Tuesday. Her Greeting Letter tells her story better than a re-write. It is NEAT to be meeting listeners after all these years!

Hi Ron. Thank you for your kind words about "New Old Friends." I
promised Bob Gately that I would go home and write a poem about the
evening, and that's exactly how it flowed... at 3:00 AM.

I am a 51 year old Phoenix native and a grateful listener who
remembers those days so well. Since there's not a New Old Friends category, I would be honored to be added to The List under "Allies and possible Conspirators."

My husband Ken and I were too shy to wander into the gypsy camp back
in "the day." Now I'm re-inventing myself. Ken & I will be married 30 years in January. Where does the time go?

I'm not sure what all you need. ShareBear is my nickname. I go by
Sharon Elaine Porter on my poetry
website: http://www.toomanyangels.com ... It's not a "professional"
website, but it is the loving home of my joyful expression.

Anyway.... Thanks again! It's a pleasure to be in such great company!

Just snatched this one little limnerick from Sharon's website, in the hopes that you will be intrigued as I was, with it. There is something enigmatic and mesmerizing about her work. It smacks of Dr. Seuss... I could say more but what's the use?

STOP - remember "Revolution #9" by The Beatles from the 1968 White Album........ OK, got it in your mind?
~~~~~
9 is 9
9 is 9 is 9 is 9
To infinity
It is the coolest number
There will ever be
9 is 9 is 9 is 9
Check it out and see
7 times 9 is 63
And what is 6 plus 3?
9 is 9 is 9 is 9
It happens every time!
9 times any number
Will add right back to 9
9 times 6 is 54
5 plus 4
Need I say more?
Which number do I adore?
9 is 9 is 9
Thank you. I just wanted to let you know that the "New Old Friends" poem is on the New Poems page at toomanyangels.com ... I connected a link to the KCAC Lives Blog following the poem, so that eveyone can know the remarkable people who inspired it. I feel so totally blessed to know you!
I feel the same way, Sharon. Lets get together one of these days for lunch or something, and I'll invite Terri Sussman and Liz Boyle. The four of us didn't really get a chance to talk enough there...not to mention other people who I am to tired to recall at the moment, so jump in with ideas!
I'd like you to find out more about the Hall of Fame. You have my phone number, lets stay in touch. I have your card. And the wonderful pix!
"God is Alive, Magic is Afoot, Magic Never Died."
Hope you will post more of your poetry on here, it adds a lot to the feel of the blog.
Hi Everyone... Please welcome to the list Robert Curry - another Awakened Soul who probably G00gled "KCAC" as the result of some serendipitous event. Welcome Robert! He writes:
Hi --
So glad I found this blog! I was in high school here -- Tempe High -- from 1968-72, and listening to KCAC literally changed the world for me. Please add me to your list, with my email address. Bless you for creating this blog.
Best,
Robert Curry
