Dreamin of You Now!...

Well, well and well… [deep subject]
Yes… I have recordings… it is about the music… [but we do look marvalous... right? LOL] and having played in many bars and many cover bands since the 60’s, I’ve devoted myself more, lately, to song writing and a home studio to record in. Dreaming of You Now is a song we would get a lot of requests for and has a lot of meaning for me… as most my songs do, as if they are your kids or part of your soul, so its hard for me to be objective.
Dreaming of You Now was written with intent… my intent to combine my study of metaphysics… with my knowledge of physics and my love of music… in itself and as a vehicle.
Einstein said ‘and event in time and space has effect from when it is perceived… ‘ even further… does not exist till it is perceived… Many people can perceive an event [the recording] as happening now [as you listen to it] from various and different places in time and space… and all partisipate in that one event AS IT HAPPENS, in a past time and space.., kinda like a time bridge. Consider the recording in the studio an event… to be perceived by many people later when they listen to it… even though separated by years and miles… they all are pertisipating in that one event… all at the same time and place… as it is recorded… every one can partisipate in one event all together at the same time and place even though separated by time and space. Well ? you play with that as you read the first verse…. Sing to the future… and the future sings with you!
Here’s the link… http://www.myspace.com/brucefrank and the lyrics to

Dreamin of You Now!
These are some words that I used yesterday….
While I was dreamin of you here…
In a dream, I was dreamin with you now…
Its as real as us today…
Seems we always had the key…
To open every door
No need now to find the key…
Its loves old sweet song as before
You’re the way, were the door….

The words I want… seem to come so dam hard…
So many words… get in the way…
In my mind… yes I do love you…
But that’s so easy just to say…
The meanings in the way we live…
Each and every day…
The little things we say and do…
For the… ones we pass on the way…
Give your love every day…

The way I live… now I live, now for you…
The ways I died… set me free
The song I sing… now I sing now to see…
Through the night to the light… where we can be…
My plans and dreams may have brought you down…
May have helped you see…
Loves the highest dream I’ve found…
It’s the dream to set us all free…
Take us home… give us the key…

‘Perfect Situation’ on that same page, is done with Tina Hall… [ a song we both got off on! ] and John Mollina... its another song with good meaning and intent for the future. Both songs are events… live, home recordings… everyone playing together, at once… with little or no over dubbing or sweetener [Some lead guitar and vocal was over dubbed on Dreamin of You Now]
Jim Glass should get some kind of metal!!! What a trooper to say the least… I think he’s playing with at least 2 or 3 different bands as the need and opportunity arise… he’s always been ready to play. That may be how we got together… someone said… Hey! Got a gig for Friday, wanta play? Yea cool we can do this… I know a good drummer! I remember one New Years Eve gig we played together… and , he got offered another gig for the same night… [New Years Eve is a good night for working musicians] he took it… threw some more musicians together and someone to fill for him while he was between gigs…. And it worked … and we worked… good payday to for New Years too. No wonder when musicians WORK… everyone says they’re PLAYING…. And we were… both
More recently, but before his heart surgery and bypass, I went along with him to his gig and he could hardly carry his amp in… he was that weak, that he could only carry it a little way before being totally exousted… He still played his heart out all night… not even taking a break for the first 2 or 3 hours.
Good guy and lord knows he has the right to sing the blues… I’ll forward to him and see if he can speak for himself on the blog… I was just tryin to give him a little plug… that’s what brothers do.
Jim… check this link out… people are talking about you! LOL! http://kcaclives.blogspot.com/
Lowell…howdy bro… the one in the pic that somewhat looks like John Ritter, is John Molline, quite a good drummer and singer who happened to grow up in a small Illinois home town with some guys from Cheap Trick. I think our band was SOS… anyway its not to suprising we got a lot of music lover on this blog and I’m sure glad to see people following and supporting local musicians.
Love Ya’ll
Bruce Frank
PS... that song 'Dreamin of You Now' has a diferent meaning the second time you partisipate in it...

Fine song, Bruce. I don't mean to presume genius here but I take issue with Mr. Einstien's statement. He however was quite a womanizer and was obviously captivated by the experience of orgasm, so he must have known SOMETHING....... right?

The quote; ‘An event in time and space has effect from when it is perceived… even further… does not exist till it is perceived' assumes complete innocence to the point of stupidity. EVIDENCE of an event after the occurence MUST be a part of human conciousness process, else we exist as total drones with nothing but instinct to guide us. eg.. I am standing on a road under a cliff. Before me are dozens of rocks littering the road… If I deduce from that evidence that rocks have been falling from above, I will move out of harms way.

It's the old question "If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, did it really fall?" One answer is; Did it hit you? Are you deaf?

Great to hear these original songs and stories, isn't it? Bruce, you never cease to surprise me! I remember hearing you during the Rebirth days, it's good to know you are still at it. And Ron, those are the best answers to the 'if a tree falls' question I've ever heard! (o:

After much browbeating (in a good way!) by Terri Sussman, I have a Myspace page. Last night Terri talked me into uploading a song of mine that was recorded on that amazing little TEAC Portastudio.

http://www.myspace.com/mariahfleming
I think it's the first thing I ever recorded on that thing. It's not the greatest, but at least it's a trip back in time. Of course it's off a cassette of the original recording so the quality isn't very good.

I"ve since reworked the song, and I no longer play guitar worth a darn, but it'll give you an idea of some of the stuff I was doing at one time. I also posted some pictures you guys might be interested in (some of them are of the Rebirth of Real gathering at Alwun House too.)

Check out some of Terri's songs on her page too. Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you Lowell and Ron for them corrections... what do i know... its all hearsay to me... I could be totally wrong!
.... and yea anyone that smart, who likes kids and woman cant be all bad… he really loved humanity and thought we could do better… but I don’t want to get in trouble with Einstein… not even dead Einstein or his followers. Now I’ll have to look up the exact quote. Einstein wasn’t a very practical man it would seem, more theoretical, and at odds with modern quantum physics. Quantum physics says all things exist at all times and places… AS A POTENTIAL… but still needing to be observed or measured to truly exist. Einstein, I feel, viewed the 4D world from a 3D perspective. Please excuse my arrogance at trying to explain or interpret Einstein… or even myself
Love Ya’s
Thanks
Bruce Frank
PS Yes... I have participated, with other people or consciousness’ in events, jams, as they happen live… AT A DISTANCE… [wow good line for a song] not even knowing who or where… it was just happening... just here and now.

Well, there ya go. I believe Aldous Huxley and a few others may have been a few jumps ahead of Einstein in that, by limiting an experience to PERCEPTION (as did Hitler) it kinda makes man The Creator. We ain't. We is the CREATED.

The leap of Quantum Physics however MUST presuppose (in my view) a super-coducting condition that allows perception of NUMEROUS parallel dimensions as with White Powders of Gold - a.k.a. "Manna".

Albert then, brilliant as he was, was still bound by his percieved dimensions... in other words the reality that everyone AGREED on, as being reality. By the way you only have two guitar picks in your pocket - a blue one and a multi-colored smaller one. You need more guitar picks, Bruce.

"I know you understand what it is you think I said, but I'm not sure you understand that what it is you think I said, is not what I meant."

That's what Quantum Physics means to me. (o:

Will people who don't understand Quantum Physics be sent to live at Quantumono Bay?

Wow Dan... how'd you know that... I looked for einsteins quote... and was over welmed... at his veiw, as a scientist and a human... but i didn't find the one i was looking for. I was going to post some i was so impressed but let me just recomment typing Albert Einstein in any search engine... read for yourself... i found one description i thought was good...

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Aristotle: It is the nature of chickens to cross roads.

Isaac Newton: Chickens at rest tend to stay at rest, chickens in motion tend to cross roads.

Albert Einstein: Whether the chicken crossed the road or the road moved beneath the chicken depends on your frame of reference.

Werner Heisenberg: We are not sure which side of the road the chicken was on, but it was moving very fast.

Wolfgang Pauli: There already was a chicken on this side of the road.

well what can you add to that?

Opps... I mean Ron... i just preceived Dan... so did i realy read you right?... LOL
Its all perception i guess!

Well, was I right about the guitar picks?

The perception you see, about the chicken crossing the road then, requires a verifying AGREEMENT from another witness for it to become a reality. Without that, Einstien's point of view is no better than a hallucination.

By the way I have experienced SHARED hallucinations where several of us both stoned and straight saw and heard the same reality, based on a singular fantasy.

AND.... are you ready Sharon? ...... It was a "Whoooooooooosh".

There is no spoon. There was no chicken.

Yes and No Ron... thats what i was wowwing about... 'I got picks in my pants'... Yes... I just got my pants... Yes,i need picks... but no... i preceive i have 4 picks in my pocket... let me check... Yup!! 4 picks... which just goes to show...

'You can pick your friends... and
You can pick your nose... but
You can't always pick your friends nose!'
not Albert Einstein

You must remember, relitivly speaking, that Aldous Huxley had better drugs than Albert Einstein... though they both did reserch [its called research when you dont know what your doing] Einstein, like the proverbial constapated mathamatician, had to work it out with a pencil.

I found a few more good quotes from Einstein... {yes.. as a physics major in college he was one of my heros... even before Timothy Leary}
'We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.'
'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.'
'Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.' Albert Einstein
Probibly writen with a nasty pencil! LOL
My earlyer point i was trying to make... ummm... simply put, when you listen to a song and it moves you [or not]... you are feeling the effect of something that happened in the past, another time and place... but its effecting you, here and now... as you preceive it... you are partisipating in that event as it happens... and it can happen both ways... For you... AND the musicians! Thats one way we time traval through music!
Let go further... when many, people, say a concert, share and are getting into that which connects them all, the music... ummm, well, that may be as close as they can get... to being in the same body at the same time, and still be physicaly seperate... thats research for me still. Theres a couple a bodys out there I'd like to get into more... More on that later.
My brain is tired... and i need a new body! Help!
Love and Laughter to you...

Well said, my man.. and very well put. FOUR PICKS? Wow, I missed it by 50%.

I have to agree with your musician's views on perception. It seems that whatever we do TOGETHER tends to unify us. I believe in two things relative to that;

"All the answers to all the questions are somewhere in the music"

and.....

"Were it not for music and art, God would have done away with the human race, long ago."

And in the end... The love you take, is equal to the love you make.

Ronco

Bruce Frank said...

Amen my brother, it takes two… well lead, so said... and by the way one of them picks was blue... again 50% right... or is it… it is relative to how many picks i could have had... Let me explain... when they say you double your chances of getting cancer if you smoke, that only means that if your chances are 1/10 of 1%... double would be 2/10 of one percent... statistically insignificant, but still double if you look at it that way… they don’t even factor in it reduces your chances of getting kill in an auto accident!… how can ya if cancer kills you… Well anyway…
I could have had a million picks in my pocket… [it could happen] so you you had 1 chance in a million of getting it right, actually less than that counting combinations, you were off by 2… out of millions… that is less than 1/1000 of percent error… again statistically insignificant… so in politically correct terms… as used by the cancer society and in the war on drug…
YOU WERE CORRECT!
It’s just relative… to what ever… That’s why they say
Figures lie…
Liars figure!

Love Ya
Bruce
