MERRY CHRISTMAS, BOYS AND GIRLS
RON WORTHAM - KCAC, CA 1969
Nice pic. Are you saying that not "puffing the magic dragon" leads one to blowing bagpipes? That's what it looks like in this pic! Also, thanks for posting something new here, Ron (I was just getting ready to write ANYthing to move the Thanksgiving post down the page)!
Dat be my Mojo Stick with a monkey skull on top. I figure if I gotta use a cane, it might as well be classy. The hat was rescued from a store shelf in New Orleans in 1983 for $16.00. Got it just in time. If I had left it there it would be wet by now
Hey Jimmy,I just posted something new after reading your post thanksgiving plea (o: but it's not showing up after 20 minutes. It's on the manage posts thing though. Maybe I did something wrong? (O;MariahPS Ron, love your photo...you look like a very content guy!
Sure - it LOOKS that way but do you have any idea what it is like waking up - not having smoked anything the night before... and having to wonder who you are? WHERE you are and WHY you are no longer matters when you think back to the past and remember what is was like to always be hungry even when you make love almost every night? Sometimes to the same girl? I tell you FOOD STAMPS are a good idea, sure but what we need is a national program to be sure each and every man, woman and gay person has at LEAST one joint per day. There would be no war or need for a national health care program. No one would need salt or oil of oregano. Deja' Vu would lose the other part of its meaning and we would live forever in present time. I would not remember you. You would not care.THESE are the solutions to the wold's problems and it's about time we faced up to our responsibilities as human beings.I say LIBERATE AFGHANISTAN and ENSLAVE AMERICA! Works for me.
Now THAT'S thinking outside the box, Ron! Nice mojo stick, by the way, it quite surpasses 'classy.' Ya done good there. Additional benefits to the American Marijuana Program (just call it AMP?) would be fiscal solvency, for both individuals (unless you happen to be a mental health professional, as noted below) and the nation, a massive and instantaneous reduction in the crime rate, the virtual disappearance of domestic violence, a veritable burst of creative productivity in the arts and science, and many other blessings (I could go on, believe me!). Of course there's always a down side to any idea, and with AMP there would probably be a plethora of unemployed psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers and po-leece-menz(supply and demand, you know), but that's a small price to pay, right? I'm with you, it's time we faced up to our responsibilities!:~)
