Terrific event! The Tubes closed it out with a lot of loud craziness but the quieter moments were memorable too - the Herndon Brothers, Rex Allen Jr., and of course Danny's induction of Dwight Tindle, and Dwight's mother accepting the award with brief, but graceful and moving, words of thanks. If you were there, you know what I mean. If you weren't there, you shoulda been!

I had to cancel my trip suddenly at the last minute 'cuz my Mom's long battle with cancer suddenly got worse and could end any day now. I very much would like to read stories about everything that happened that night. Photos and video would be wonderful too. Let's see those posts:)

Workin on it all, we are all just coming up for air.
Fran, there was a big story in the Az Republic Saturday Arizona Living Section...if you can't access the whole thing (full page and more!) online, let me know and I will send you a copy of the article. So hoped to see you there. I am very sorry about your mom. I went through that with my mom in 2000. My thoughts are with you!

I havn't been to the blog before sorry it took so long!
Wow everyone remembers so much more than I do! I was so wild back then and partied WAY too much!Especially for a 11-12 year old (hate to admit that!!)
Ok one memory is when Jimmie Hendrix died and they announced it on the radio.
This sounds very silly but does anyone remember a commercial about sugar that said it is bad for you and gives you zits! And a song about calling all vegetables.
